- Elizbeth gained the throne when she was 25.
- She was the daughter of King Henry VIII.
- In 1534 a law was passed that said that the only rightful heirs were the children of Anne Boleyn. She miscarried a boy and that was her final mistake. She was accused of treason and killed. Elizabeth was left without a mother and had to be kept away from her father for her own good.
- Henry married Jane Seymour and gave birth to Prince Edward but died shortly afterwards.
- Elizabeth learned quickly and as much as her brother Edward. She knew how to behave in society. Elizabeth was amazed by her father's power.
- After Henry died, Edward was the heir but was much to young to rule. Elizabeth was an orphan at 14. A regency would have to be formed to rule until Henry was old enough.
- John Seymour lived with Elizabeth and abused her every morning. John's wife blamed Elizabeth but cast John out of the house nonetheless.
- Elizabeth's life was ruined and her own brother would not talk to her.
- After the scandal with Seymour faded her brother acknowledged her existence again.
- After quite a few complex events passed, Elizabeth realized that if she bid her time right she may become Queen.
- She did nothing extravagantly but did become known in the town.
- She was next in line for the throne after Queen Mary. Mary turned England into a Christian country. Mary claimed she was going to marry Philip of Spain.
- Rebels helped Elizabeth to eject Mary from the throne and put Elizabeth in power.
- Mary went to meet with Elizabeth. This reconciliation made Elizabeth able to become the next heir. Philip wanted this to happen because if it had not, a French ruler would have been next.
- Mary was about to die, but let Elizabeth become Queen under a few circumstances. Elizabeth accepted.
- Elizabeth became the new monarch and moved to London.
